The Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (COPTTM) requires work on minor roads or roadsides to have traffic management services (TM). This means you’ll need an approved Traffic Management Plan and equipment like signs or cones. A Site Traffic Management Specialist (STMS) will be provided.

Level 2/3 Traffic Management Systems

Jobs on roads of over 10,000 vehicles need trained traffic management.

Temporary traffic safety on State Highways and busy arterial roads can only be managed by people trained and certified to TM Level 2/3.
